Since calf leather is porous and absorbs water easily, avoid getting them wet. Getting the shoes soaking wet can irrevocably stain the leather, but if they just get a bit wet, stuffing the toe area with clean, un-dyed paper or cloth and letting them dry naturally, without heat, can help them to recover.

Most quality shoe repair shops will offer products to polish, protect, and refresh the leather's surface. A neutral cream polish—one without color—will also help protect the surface from scuffs and scrapes and keep the leather hydrated. If something's spilled on the leather, try using a soft cloth with a small amount of cleanser or cream on it. Rub the surface in a circular motion, then allow the shoe to dry before buffing the entire thing lightly with a dry, clean cloth.

"These boots are almost perfect: sleek, stylish (the toe is just pointed enough but not overly exaggerated), and ridiculously comfortable. I’ve worn them for a season — for hours at a time — and have never had any issues. The one disappointing thing is the zipper area. The leather around the zipper has started to turn/flip outward (not sure exactly how to describe it), so it looks shabby now. It’s fine with jeans/pants that cover the boot, but I’d be embarrassed to wear it with an outfit that really showcases the shoe."

I sized half a size up so that I can wear thicker socks with these boots. I love that even witj a heel, this boot is very comfortable to wear for long hours at a time. "I am in between size 6. 5 and size 7, and I sized up to the US Women's size 7 in wide width. These boots fit like a glove, and I can wear moderately thick socks with them for the fall and winter. I love how the outer and interior of the shoe is made from natural material (calf-skin leather) which is hard to find these days. These boots were immediately comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period needed. The heel height alomg with the pointed toe is very comfortable and adds a little bit of formality to the design. Wonderfully designed and comfortable shoe!"

Perfect boot for the in-between

"Really pleased with my purchase so far - I was hesitant about ordering them because of the price while knowing that everything seems like "fast fashion" these days and is it really worth the price? Despite the splurge, I am so glad that these met my expectations of having a comfortable yet styling bootie to wear to work and all my casual outings. Be aware that Narrow widths are not that narrow.

"I ordered a narrow width boot since it is quite difficult to find shoes and boots for narrow feet. Given this limited availability, I was willing to cough up more than $400 for this “investment” boot. Unfortunately the boots did not feel narrow to me. My foot still slid around inside the boot and to me it felt no different than a medium width. Ultimately these were not worth the money because the narrow is not really actually narrow. I would return them; however I can’t since I have now worn them. It took walking more than just in a room on carpet to get the actual feel of the shoe. So heads up my friends with narrow feet!!"
