"Before ordering, I reached out to Margaux customer service to ask about sizing compared to the Marlowe loafer. Gracie recommended a 39W (I ordered the 38. 5 regular width in the Marlowe) which fits perfectly! Margaux’s leather is so high quality, comfortable, and gorgeous even as it wears in. The black crinkle gloss is so versatile and can be dressed up or down! I’m a Margaux customer for life!!"

"At the risk of sounding too practical, I bought the Phoebe to have a second pair of comfortable shoes for a trade show where I walk 10-15K steps a day. The natural python bone-and-black design was just a style bonus. Without time to break them in, I added a pack of moleskin to my bag just in case. I returned, 55K steps later, never having broken out the moleskin or my other old "comfortable" shoes! Phoebe outperformed in every way. The natural python requires care not to scuff on concrete or get stepped on by your business partner, but the style is worth the care!"

"The Phoebe is very comfortable right out of the box. I love the toe box, not too square, just enough. I wore these 10 hours straight for the first time with no issues or blisters. The leather is buttery soft. I will be adding a non-slip protector for the bottom of the shoe, but other than that, no complaints! I'm not a huge fan of ballet shoes with bows or straps across the foot, but this one was sophisticated enough that it doesn't detract and the strap is covered by wide leg pants if I don't want it showing. This is my first pair of Margaux and won't be my last!"

"I’d been eyeing these shoes for a while bc the price is pretty steep however decided to try them and I’m so glad I did. They’re really an investment shoe. The leather is BUTTERY and they fit so comfortably right out of the box. No break in time needed. I wore them to the office without socks and my feet were comfortable all day — I did a fair amount of walking, too. At one point my feet were hot and sweaty but even then, the shoes didn’t rub or hurt in anyway. Also I got tons of compliments when I wore them, they’re statement shoes. Can’t wait to buy more Margaux in the future."
