We recommend starting with your typical US shoe size. The Wrap Sandal features an elongated, squared toe, so you may notice it extends beyond your toes more than a rounded-toe sandal. 

The front straps should feel comfortably snug right out of the box, the soft nappa leather will naturally soften with wear, relaxing slightly over time. 

A tip from Margaux HQ: The way you tie the straps can make a big difference in achieving a secure fit. We recommend bringing the straps behind your heel first, then gently flexing your foot as you tie them around the ankle. This helps the straps settle into the right place without tying them too tightly.

Our nappa shoes are made from a soft, Italian nappa and flexible leather soles. Nappa leather is permeable, so avoid exposure to water and rain. To maintain the sheen and finish over time, you can use a quality leather lotion.

Simple flat sandal

"This is my fourth pair of the wrap sandal. I like the minimalist style of this flat sandal and the ability to tighten the ankle tie according to my leg width. And I like this nude/rose color. My only complaint with this style is that the narrow width runs a little too wide. I have ended up putting in "foot petals" on the shoe where the ball of the foot sits on the shoe to stop my foot from sliding a little forward."

Fashion forward but not a walking sandal

"Perhaps I’m expecting too much from a pair of wrap sandals. I wore them for a while, on a carpeted surface (to protect them). Had a hard time coming up with the right degree of tightness with the straps, kept readjusting. And, found that it bothered me when my heel lifted from the sandal when I took steps. Not uncomfortable, just sort of annoying. Dealing with mild plantar fasciitis on one heel, finally concluded that perhaps this isn’t the summer to have this type of sandal in my repertoire, as much as I wanted them."

Closet staple

"This was my first Margaux purchase, and I love my sandals! I got The Wrap Sandal in Nappa Rose, and they are wonderful. I rate them 4/5 with deductions for no arch support, blind size purchase, and for color description. These are very comfortable, and I was able to wear them for several hours running errands the very first time out of the box. I’m not sure I’d be able to “walk a whole day in Europe in them” like other reviews stated considering there’s very little padding and no arch, but they are comfortable. The Rose Nappa is more of a nude with a slight warmth to it, which was hard to appreciate online. Thankfully I was able to see it on several different influencers before buying, and I was relieved it was more nude than pink. I had a hard time picking a size - I can fit US women’s 6-8. So I measured my foot, contacted customer service, and still got no help. I had to blindly pick a size. Out of the box, they had a little less than a cm on both ends, and now that I’ve worn them a couple of times, they’re too long and my foot moves back and forth a lot - even with the narrow option. The return/exchange policy is frustrating when you get no guidance on sizing other than “get what you usually get. ” Ideally, I would have been given the option to try two sizes and be able to return one with no fee. Overall, the sandal is lovely and I look forward to being able to wear them for years to come. Please offer a chocolate brown option!"

I tried the Medium width, which was too wide, then the Narrow width, which was a bit too narrow, although probably would have relaxed and been fine.
